Who is the world’s oldest woman?

As TikTok video goes viral, rumors of a 399-year-old woman’s survival are debunked.

On TikTok, a video of a woman, who appears to be the world’s oldest person, is going viral. Today is her 399th birthday, according to legend. However, the viral video has proven to be incorrect, as the Guinness World Record already recognizes the oldest person on the planet.

Previously, the internet was obsessed with a TikTok video of a 163-year-old monk. A few netizens now believe that someone much older than the monk is still alive.

Many people believe that a woman seen lying in bed is over 400 years old. According to netizens, she is unable to move or speak due to her advanced age.

As internet users continue to debate the ages of the monk and the woman, it has been established that the woman does not exist. The person in the video who has been referred to as the 399-year-old woman is the monk himself.

Luang Ta or Luang Pho Yai is the name of the Buddhist monk. He is 109 years old and currently resides in Thailand. After appearing in his granddaughter’s TikTok video, he went viral on social media. Over 88 million people have watched the video of him in a hospital bed.

Who is the oldest person living?

Kane Tanaka of Fukuoka, Japan, was confirmed as the oldest living person on January 20 by Guinness World Records. The woman was born on January 2, 1903, and she is 119 years old.

Kane Tanaka has lived through two world wars and two pandemics, including the 1918 Spanish flu. Tanaka married her cousin when she was 19, had four children, and adopted a daughter.

She witnessed her husband and sons leave for the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1937 and their return.
